Over the last 13 years of working in the design service retail business I have gained much experience working directly with clients. In both large and small projects, I have helped them focus on their own personal spaces, selecting colors, patterns, furniture, rugs, lighting, linens, and art pieces.  My focus is on careful listening to each client’s specific wishes, asking questions and working together with them to select items within their budget.  I work to curate each client’s space with function and beauty in mind.  I am aware of trends, colors, and current styles of interiors.  I have developed a style that is current but with a classic sensibility,  I am eclectic with a mid century leaning.

I am a self-taught, passionate design aficionado. My first recollection of my appetite for design came when as a ten year old I took advantage of my parent’s absence from home to rearrange our living room. The memory of their surprise upon opening the front door is still vivid. That same look of surprise has been replicated over the years by my daughters whose help I have enlisted to choose fabrics, move furniture and even entire rooms in our home as I have replicated that same desire to make a room the most pleasing and comfortable it can be.
I never pass an opportunity to buy and read new books on design from cover to cover and in this way, I keep current with trends from around the world while also keeping my more traditional self alive. I enjoy bringing what I have learned to others, helping them with their design solutions.
